A Cup of Tea is a Cup of Life

But indeed I would rather have nothing but tea.

Coffee or tea, please

I am happy to say that I have gone six months since I have had a diet coke or any other type of caffeinated soda pop.

Not to say that I have had one sip of the hubbies DC when I’ve had a disgusting after taste in my mouth.

Oh, the burn and the bubbles of my all-time favorite soda. That one sip can burn out the flavor of anything.

Why is it that you never can forget the taste of your favorite beverage?

As far as caffeine goes, I do have my morning cup of joe, and that is where I stop.

I have a difficult time sleeping, and I certainly won’t do anything to make that worse.

I’ve always enjoyed tea, but I have never considered sipping on it instead of my usual caffeinated beverage.

After reading the benefits of tea vs. coffee, I thought maybe I should consider trying a cup more often.

Breaking the cycle of our bodies, caffeine, or coffee intake frees us from needing a daily drug to function normally.

And besides, the cost of a caffeine addiction can really add up.

Whatever I can do to improve my health and extend my metastatic breast cancer prognosis is something I will take to heart.

A side effect of chemotherapy and other related cancer treatment is the risk of increasing your blood pressure.

Before my cancer diagnosis, I never had an issue with my blood pressure.

Approximately a year into my treatments, my blood pressure began to elevate.

Caffeine can raise blood pressure. I was hoping the giving up the caffeinated soda would help with my problem. Unfortunately, it has not.

And four years later, I’ve needed to add yet another prescription drug to help with the issue.

Other essential points to remember.

Tea may reduce your risk of heart attack and stroke.

Tea may help with weight loss and even help protect your bones.

Tea may boost your immune system.

Herbal tea may help soothe your digestive system.

No matter what the season, tea can be a tasty beverage since it can be served iced or hot.

If you are cold, tea will warm you; if you are too heated, it will cool you; If you are depressed, it will cheer you; If you are excited, it will calm you.
